This project is conducted in collaboration with other conservation structures (University of Montpellier, Sorbonne University, Pantheon-Sorbonne University) or excavations (INRAP, EVEHA, Archéodunum, regional, departmental or municipal archaeological services). The objective is to propose paleopathological studies of collections (or assessments of the potential of the sanitary approach to populations of the past) for comparisons between several contexts or to inform funerary recruitment.
These analyses are all subject to a study report (integrated into the excavation report) completed by communications in conferences or publications. Regarding collaborations with anatomical museums or medical collections (University of Montpellier, Sorbonne University, Pantheon-Sorbonne University), work on diagnostic re-evaluations of several pieces will be finalized by 2023.
